On Being Open
We are pleased to announce the reopening of Witte de With Center for Contemporary Art to the general public. We welcome you to visit our four current exhibitions, our bookshop, and cantina. For the month of June 2020, our opening hours are Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 1:30 to 6:00 PM. Please schedule your visit online. A reservation gives you entry to both Witte de With and TENT Rotterdam. As per government regulations, enjoying our program onsite is possible, provided that both personnel and visitors practice social distancing measures in the building. We trust this can happen. To ensure the well-being of both our team members and the general public, we have established precautionary safety measures on-site. We are opening at this time with a limited schedule to learn of circulation flows in a more focused way, and to more swiftly adapt our protocols accordingly. Our aim is to ensure a welcoming and safe environment, so you and all visitors enjoy our activities with ease. If you remain sheltering in place or find yourself abroad, you can experience activities at a distance through our online platform offsite. We believe art inspires new imaginaries and offers a space for reflection, succor and joy. We invite you to experience this at Witte de With Center for Contemporary Art. Thanks to the support of artists, lenders and many collaborators, including our public and private funders, we have prolonged our exhibitions until the end of the summer. As it pertains to public programming, we will gradually resume activities at MELLY by Autumn. Know that, at present, we are re-sketching our program calendar, so ideas, conversations, and events that got postponed find their way into a new flow of engagements. |
