Daniel McClean
Lawyer specialized in art law, intellectual property law and media law. McClean works in London at Howard Kennedy FSI and works with different sectors of the art market, including artists, collectors, dealers, galleries and museums. He advises clients on a range of contentious and non-contentious issues from ownership and authenticity to the drafting of agency, consignment, commissioning and sale agreements. His clients include The Arts Council of England, Tate, La Colección Jumex, Gagosian Gallery, among others. McClean is actively involved in the art world as an independent curator and writer. In addition, he is the commissioning editor of Dear Images: Art, Copyright and Culture(2002) and The Trials of Art (2007).
